THE TWO YEAR VISIT

The Two Year Visit

At this visit we will:

  • Take your toddler’s height, weight and head circumference.
  • Conduct screening for Lead and Hemoglobin level in blood, as recommended by the AAP.
  • Conduct a standard autism screening.

GUIDANCE

Development: Your tot should be able to run, walk up steps, and remove articles of clothing. They should also know six or more words at this point.

Whining: If your child has begun the aggravating habit of loud and nagging repetition, help is on the way. Follow this simple and efficient whining abatement program.

Toilet training: Don’t waste your time with bribing and praising for toilet training. Your toddler will soon want much more than a few golden stars as an incentive to do the things you want them to. More importantly, bribes or praise are unlikely to work and could delay the entire process. Read our patented toilet training technique, which is efficient, albeit a little messy.

Toddler’s bed: If you haven’t tried yet, you may want to think about transitioning your toddler into a bed. There is no rush on this if they are happy in their crib, none-the-less, here are some tips on how to proceed so the whole family does not end up in the same bed. Read on…
