Q&A with Dr. Cynthia Su

How did you get into pediatrics?
I always knew I wanted to go into primary care, and quickly realized my favorite patients were babies, kids, and teenagers. Also, my grandmother was a pediatrician so I think it was always in my genes!

Where did you grow up?
Seattle, WA.

Where do you live?
Long Island.

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
Taking a lunchtime stroll into town and enjoying a treat from By the Way Bakery.

What keeps you motivated?
Amazing co-workers and the joy of watching our patients grow into healthy and thriving young adults.

What do you do for fun?
I love to bake, especially when I can share the final product with friends (and co-workers). I took up crocheting in 2023, and always try to have an active project.
